I yearn to be cherished as a rare treasure. I dream of a love that is fresh every morning with anticipation of what the day may hold. I long for a love that will not wane with time or diminish with the doldrums of everyday life. And I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that no earthly relationship will ever give me that satisfaction.
I know that God wants to give me the desires of my heart. He even told me in his love letter to me (aka the Bible). I pray that I can begin to hear God’s love song and find His love notes lavishly tucked in the moments. That I recognize the romance of God in the routine of life.
